Christmas 圣诞节

Christmas is a religious holiday.圣诞节是个宗教节日,It is celebrated on December 25 as the birthday of Christ.每年12月25日基督生日,人们欢庆圣诞。

Thanksgiving Day 感恩节

Thanksgiving Day comes on the fourth Thursday in November.感恩节是11月的第四个周四。Every year,the president writes a letter to the people.每年,美国总统都要给美国人民一封信,He writes that the fourth Thursday in November will be a national holiday.信中说,11月的第四个周四是全国性的节日。All the stores. banks,schools and offices close。这一天,所有商店、银行、办公场所都不上班。The people can spend Thanksgiving Day with their families.人们同家人欢庆感恩节。
