From the aspect of interpersonal relationship, social media shortens the gap of communication, to some degree. No more restriction of interest, you can come across different voices that may amuse you or irritate you. It is beyong doubt that social media create an atmosphere that makes it more convenient for us to survive in the Information Age. However, its negative effect should also be noticed. Currently there are a large quantity of people who neglect face-to-face communication, which often cause emotional indifference and exist-in-name-only relationship. Some adolescents even prohibit their parents from visiting their social media. That its extended use may be addictive should arouse public alertness.
From the aspect of sharing information, social media serves as a powerful tool in the 21st century. With social media, relaying and obtaining and all sorts of information turns out to be "so easy". You can easily get to know what the ones you care for are doing, you can easily download the documents through the cloud disc, you can easily share your favourite song or the news that appeals to you with your fellows. However, some ill-intentioned or even illegal schemer may avail themselves of the loopholes. Through the social media, they may spread some indecent or violent publications, they may fabricate and spread some rumours that do harm to our collective interest, they may secretly perform the agitation of a colour revolution. They make use of the loopholes to deform our social stability.
From the aspect of personal information, social media builds a new form of displaying oneself. People make conversations wearing their "masks", seldom reveal their true identity to others, some people may even have several accounts of one specific social media at the same time. Compared with face-to-face communication, it apparently offers a relatively-more-comfortable space for people. However, personal privacy cannot always be guaranteed. Some individuals or organizations may spy on your personal information and steal your money, supervise your personal life, or even wiretap confidential information.
From the aspect of its impact on our reality, social media has a great expectation. To some extent, we can see that it has successively connect virtual world and reality. Following its original intention----to make life more convenient, it has developed services tha

The universal language is of great significance, but by no means can it go beyond its place as the second language of native people or attempt to replace our mother language.
