There is unanimous consensus that students depend largely on society’s future. However, students’ bad behavior in school has becoming an increasingly severe problem. As far as I know, an array of factors contribute to this.
First of all, parents should be responsible for their children’s behavior. Children trend to imitate whatever they see and they live together with their parents from their birth, which means children’s bad behaviors may stem from their parent who usually paid little attention to their word and deed in front of children. Moreover, there is a definite link between this behavior and media. Some print media and electronic media are inundated with excessive violent and pornographic contents. Obviously, students are vulnerable to these contents and may go astray morally, psychologically and socially under the influence of these media.
Confronted with such a thorny issue, the following countermeasures are worthy recommendation. Parents are well-advised to set a good example for their children and raise children’s awareness of acting regularly. Governments also need to shoulder the responsibility for creating a better environment which is beneficial to guide students in good manners. By that I mean government should give priority to monitor the media and impel them to delete the contents which is detrimental to the growth of students.
Of course, to a degree, many other factors such as the school, student themselves and teachers are all responsible for this. I have only pointed the most obvious aspects. Personally, I think only with the joint effort by parents and governments can we achieve the solution to the issue.
