1、面向学生:小学六年级 2、学科:英语
3、课时: 1
4、学生课前准备:
课堂练习本,预习新单词,根据字母的音素音,试读新单词。让学生提出预习中遇到的
问题。

PEP六上 Unit5 What does she do?A Let’s talk
三、 教材分析
The main idea of the topic is learning the expressions of “What does she do?”
(一)Teaching aims and demands
1. Knowledge Objects
To make the students know how to use the sentences “What does she do?”
2. Ability Objects
(1)To develop the students’ abilities of listening, speaking and reading.
(2)To train the students’ ability of communication by learning the useful expressions.
Objects
To enable the students to communicate with others, know and communicate each other.
(二)Teaching key and difficult points.
1. Key points:
The sentence: “What does she do?”
2. Difficult points:
How to use the sentence“ What does she do?”
(三)Teaching Aids: Tape recorders, photos, word cards ,Multimedia.

四、 教学方法
In this topic I will use situational teaching method. I think if I want to improve the students’ oral
English, I should give them enough chances to practice and I will use pair-work, group-work to let
the students take an active part in all kinds of activities, that is “learning by doing, learning by
using”. Let the students be the masters of the class teaching, thus student-centered teaching
methods are in line with the requirement of <>.
五、 教学过程
1. Warm-up.
1) Sing a song: “My Family”
2) Let’s chant.
3) Daily talks between Ss and teacher.
2. Presentation.
1) Ask and answer in a chain. (one by one)



What does your father do?
What does his father do?
What does her father do?
……
2) Let’s try.
Ss listen to the tape and repeat what they heard.
Then listen and circle.
3) T writes down the patterns on the blackboard.
What does do? is a .
Ss try to make more sentences by themselves with their classmates.
4) Listen to the tape and read the dialogue.
More practice.
4. Pronunciation.
T shows the cards of pronunciations to Ss.
Ss follow T to read these words and sound. And try to say out more words with these sounds.
Ss try to some words by the guide of T.
5. Consolidation and extension.
1) Play a game. “Bingo”
Ss put the cards in this unit and the pronunciations in their own orders.
T say out some of them, the one in right order is the winner.
2) Some exercises in activity book.
5. Homework.

《新目标》积极提倡任务型教学原则,要求教师在教学中充分发挥学生的主体 作用,积
极引导学生自主发展。教师应正确处理教与学、课内课外的关系,使学生真正成为学习的主人,这将更有利于教育教学质量的提高。多媒体和网络技术的应用已经成为英语教学不可缺
