两倍：twice

Eg. He reacts most quickly in the classroom of

五：降级比较： 1.-----

六：降级最高级 ：-----the least+原级+范围。

the two.
Eg. He is the taller of the two

九：be
superior to 优于，胜过 be inferior to 劣于，次于
be senior to比--年长；比--资格高；比--地位高

to D .“A 对于B 来说就如C 对于D 一样”

十一：比较级+and+比较级
越来越--
Eg. He is getting taller and
taller.他长得越来越高了。
Eg. He is getting more and
more hardworking.他越来越勤奋了。

and more quickly.他反映越来越快了。
十二：the+比较级+主语+V----，the+比较级+主语+V----
“越--，就越--”
Eg. The more quickly you run, the
more tired you get.你跑得越快，你就会越累。
十三：no more
than +数词 “仅仅，只有” not more than+数词 “不超过，至多”
no less than+数词 “多达，有--之多”not less than+数词
“不下于，至少”
Eg. You have no more than 10 minutes
to prepare.你只有10分钟做准备。
十四：more than:
1)+n
“不仅仅” 2）+数词 “超过” 3）+adj 很，非常）+从句 “远非，难以”
Eg.
He is more than a teacher, he is a writer,
too.他不仅仅是个老师，他还是个作家。
Eg. He has worked here
for more than 20 years.他在这儿工作已经超过20年了。
Eg. I'm
more than glad to hear that news.听到那个消息我感到非常高兴。
Eg. This is more than I can understand.这我难以理解。
十五：more---than----
1)比----多 eg. I have
more books than you do.我比你的书多。
2)比----更eg. I
am more hardworking than you are.我比你更努力。
3)与其
----不如---- eg. She is more sad than
angry.与其说她愤怒，不如说她悲伤。
Eg. She is more
a writer than a teacher 与其说她是个教师，不如说她是个作家。
特别注意：
在“与其--不如--”结构中，不能把那个more sad改为sadder.
十六：less than
1)不到，不足 eg. You are less than
20 years old.你不到20岁。
2)比--少小 eg He eats less
than me.他吃的比我少。
3)不太，一点也不 eg. He is less than
happy.他一点也不开心。
十七：less----than---
1)比---少
eg. I earn less money than he does.我赚的钱比他少。
2)不如 eg. I am less hardworking than you
are.我不如你努力。
3)与其--不如-- eg. She is less angry
than sad.与其说她愤怒，不如说她悲伤。
Eg. She is less a
teacher than a writer. 与其说她是个老师，不如说她是个作家。
十八：no+比较级+than 与--一样不（否定两者）
not+比较级+than 不如

.他和我一样都不高。
Eg. He is no more hardworking than
me.他和我一样都不努力。
Eg. He is no more a great writer
than me.他和我一样都不是个伟大的作家。
Eg. He is not taller
than me.他不如我高。
Eg. He is not more hardworking
than me.他不如我努力。
十九：no less---than--- 与--
一样（肯定两者）
Eg. He is no less a good singer than
me.他和我一样都是好歌手。
二十：最高级还有其它形式：
如：1）notnever+aan+比较级
Eg. I have never
found a noisier fish.我从没见过一条更吵的鱼了。
2） 比较级

判断正误：

二十一：“aan+most”的结构，这种形式不最高级。结构中的“most”译为“很，非常”
