Step I Lead-in
Show picture on the screen, ask the student to
talk about the pictures, pay attention to
the
word clone. Ask the students to discuss which ones
are natural clones and which
ones are man –
made and explain how they differ.
Then ask the
student to answer the following questions:

Do you want to be cloned or not? Why?
2. If
you are the judge what will you do?
3. Can you
tell me the advantages of cloning?
4. And what
is the disadvantage?
Step II Pre-reading
Before class, ask the students to search for
some information about this topic, then let
them discuss the following questions:

making an exact copy of another animal and plant.

manner of 一

2. Dolly‟s appearance
raised a storm of objections and had a great
impact on the
media and public imagination. In
this sentence, raise means lead. (引起导致)。全句
意思是:
