can’t. 语调正确。
3.了解can’t= cannot
4. 在情景对话中,学生能理解并正确使用can和can’t。
5.情感目标:通过本文的学习,使学生懂得加强体育锻炼。

教学过程:
Step1. Warming up
T: Ready? Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls
Ss: Good morning, Anney.
T: Sit down ,please. Now ,first,Brain Storm(用英语说出“运动名称”)
Ss:OK.
(学生说说运动的名称)
T: Here are some sports. Please read.
S:(读有关运动的词语)
(相机教学单词basketball和football)
T: Now, let’s play a game. Please guess : What can I do? You can ask me
“Can you„?”
Ss:(猜)
T: (等学生猜完显示答案)
I can run.
I can jump.
I can sing.



I can dance.
All right. But I can’t play basketball. And I’m not strong. So I want
to take part in a Sports Club. Would you like to join me?
T:OK. Let’s go to the Sports Club.
Ss: Yes.
Step2. Presentation and practice
1) Sports time
T: OK. Good . But wait a moment. You need to finish some tasks. Take a
look. Can you play sports.?
Ss: Yes.
T: Oh, really? I have sports time for you ,today. And I want to know weather
you can read.
Ss: Yes.
T: Oh, good. So we have ‘Story time’ today. And can you act today?.
Ss: Yes.
T: OK! we have show time today. When you finish: sports time- storytime-
show time. You’ll be super. Are you ready? Here we go . First let’s go
to sports time . Before this ,would you follow me to read “I can! I try!
I’m supper!” Read together. Let’s go to sports time. Look ,what is it?
Ss: Basketball.
T: All right. Can you play basketball?
Ss: Yes,I can.
T&S: Can you play basketball?
S:Yes,I can . Look!
(The same way asking other students) T: Cool! Nice! Great!
(相机教学have a try)
Please work in pairs like this:
A:Can you play basketball?
B: Yes,I !
A: Cool!Nice! Great! B: No,I can’t. A: It’s Ok. Have a try.
(Ss&Ss work in pairs.)
2) Story time
T:Now,I’m sure you can ply basketball very well. Now we finished sports
time .Let’s go to have a look what story are we going to read. Take a
look. Look at the picture. Here are three boys.
Ss: Mike ,Wang Bing and Liu Tao.
T:Where are they?
Ss: They are in the playground.
T: What do they want to play together?
Ss:They want to play basketball.
T: You’re clever. But look at Liu Tao’s face. Is he happy? Can you ask
some questions?
S1:Can Liu Tao play basketball?
T: I think so .



S2:Can Wang Bing play basketball?
S3: Can Mike play basketball?
T: Good. Look at these three questions. Let’s watch cartoons and answer
the questions.
(学生看Story time的动画)
T: (生看完动画一遍) Can Wang Bing play basketball?
S: Yes, he can.
T: Can Mike play basketball?
S: Yes, he can. He can play basketball very well.
T: Good. He can play basketball very well. Can Liu Tao play basketball?
S: No, he can’t. Yes, he can.
T: OK. I do have two questions for you. Watch and choose can Liu Tao
play basketball well at first.? Can Liu Tao play basketball well at last?
Let’s watch the cartoon ,OK? OK. Let’s watch.
(学生再看动画)
T: Now, please choose.
 Can Liu Tao play well at first(首先)?
, he can. B. No, he can’t.
 Can Liu Tao play well at last(最后)?
A. Yes, he can. B. No, he can’t.
T:We know the main idea of the story. Let’s listen and repeat. Pay
attention to the pronunciation and try to imitate. Go.
(学生跟录音读)
T: Good. You can repeat very well. Now , it’s time to read the whole text.
(学生拿出书本齐读)
T: You’re great. OK. Now it’s time for you to read in roles. Please read
in three. You have three roles : Wang Bing, Mike and Liu Tao. OK. Go.
(学生分角色自由读)
T:Great .Can you read the story?
Ss: Yes.
Step3 Consolidation
Show time
T: Wow, great. Close your books. You really did a good job in the story
time. So I think last is show time for you. Can you act out? This time
you try to three in a group again and come here to show for us. Ok?
T: Who wants to come here and gives us a show? Oh, let’s say hello to
them.
(请几组学生上台表演)
评价标准:I can act correctly. 我能正确表演。
I can act fluently. 我能流利表演。
I can act vividly. 我能生动表演。
T:OK. Now children I see. You can act very well. I can see you can read .You
can act. I think we finally finished the tasks. That’s good.
Step4. Homework



T: Homework for you. 1. Listen and read the story ,try to recite it.
2. Act the story in groups. Because we are going to act out it in front
of us next time . Goodbye, boys and girls.
Ss: Goodbye.
