why do i study for a master`s degree? many college students
chose to take part in social practice after their graduation with
the view that its a waste of time for them to continue learning
theory courses. on the contrary, they can catch many
opportunities to make money, in which way it can make
themselves more skillful and competitive. as far as im
concerned，i also have a three month working
that time, i have realized that my
accumulation of knowledge is not enough for work,for example
when you come up with difficult problems,you will feel too
complex and exhausted to find a proper way to solve it.
however, our potential ability would soon degrade without
challenges.

yet,as a graduate student,we can not only enhance the
thinking ability but also obtain more time to chose the job
which is really suitable for ile,it can content our

horizons in this period of time,i plan to do
more readings, such as philosophy,economics,psychology,accountancy,whic h is

universally true in our life more,as a female,it will
cause me aging quickly as the heavy burden from early

society .nevertheless,i want to be a person who has strong
assurance, good psychological endurance capability and more
resilience to the

society. furthermore,the master diploma is helpful for us to
strive for better job opportunities.

as the saying goes:a beard well lathered is half shaved. theres
no gain without pain .only holding the correct attitude,can we

work so we should spend time practicing using english.
besides, we should listen to the teacher carefully,review what
is learned regularly, prepare each lesson carefully before class,
do our homework carefully, copy good sentences and recite
them and attend english debbates and speech contests. whats
more, be patient and confident. dont be shy and dont be afraid
of making mistakes. we must understand that mistakes are
unavoidable. so be patient with your mistakes and try to awoid

研究生应不应该学英语

语言的本质是信息载体，其外在作用表现为通过语言表达来进行信< br>息交换。研究生的根本任务是发现并总结和表达自身领域相关的信
息，即信息创新工作。科学研究 表明，信息创新工作的成效和信息
工作者所掌握的信息量正相关。研究生所从事的工作需要研究生具有更强大的语言能力，以获得更大的信息量以辅助其研究任务。从
这个意义上说，研究生应当尽可能 的掌握多种语言，以获取作全面
的信息量。

然而事实上不能如此。 每个人的精力有限，信息量只是信息创新工
作的一个基本的条件，完成信息创新仍旧需要研究者花费更多 时间
来整理这些信息，以从中发现线索。对信息创新工作来说，发现信
息线索的能力要比获取已 有信息的能力重要的多。每种语言所包含
的信息量非常多，有时候掌握一种语言已经能让信息工作者很好 的
完成信息创新工作。例如欧美国家的研究生教育就没有硬性规定学
生必须掌握多种语言，但他 们的研究成果同样显著。

由此，我认为研究生教育对于英语的学习可以依据研究生的研究重
点而有所不同。对于人文社会科学类研究生，他们的侧重点在于本
土文化，则可以选修英语课作 为研究辅助。而对于理工科类研究生，
由于本国的技术能力和国际存在差异，其研究创新必然要向国际看
齐，所以英语的学习应作为他们学习的必修科目。

the essence of language is the information carrier, whose
external role is exchanging information through the language
performance. the basic task of the graduate students is found
and sums up and expresses information in the fields of
themselves, namely, is information innovation work. a
scientific research shows that, the effect of information
innovation work is positively correlated with the quantity of

graduate students are engaged in more powerful language
ability, to get more information to help the research task. in
this sense, the graduate students shall master as more as

however, the fact cannot be so. everyones energy is limited.
the quantity of information is only one basic conditions of
information innovation work. researchers need spend more
time to sort out this information to complete information
innovation and to find the clues. for information innovation
work, the ability to finding information clues is more important
than the ability to getting information. each language contains
much information, sometimes information workers can already
do information innovation work well by mastering one
language. such as the occident countries are no hard-and-fast
rules that graduate students must master a variety of
languages, meanwhile the results of their study is the same
significant.

thus, i think graduate student education for english learning
should be vary according to the focus of the research of
graduate students. for humanities and social sciences class
graduate students, the research emphasis are local culture, so
they can take english study as a research assistant. and for
science and engineering class graduate student, because of
their counties technical capacity exist difference to
international, its research innovation must look to international,
so english learning should be a compulsory subject for them.
