【篇一:英文邀请函的写法】



邀请信在形式上大体分为两种:

1. 正规的格式 (formal correspondence),亦称请柬;

2. 非正式格式 (informal correspondence), 即一般的邀请信。

邀请信在形式上不如请柬那样正 规,但也很考究,书写时应将邀请的
时间(年、月、日、钟点)、地点、场合写清楚.

范例1 :

? 邀请参加新厂开工典礼

dear [mr. harrison]:

our new factory will be commencing production on [april 10]
and we should like to invite [you and your wife] to be present
at a celebration to mark the occasion.

as you will appreciate this is an important milestone for this
organization, and is the result of continued demand for our
products, both at home and overseas. we are inviting all those
individuals and trust that you will pay us the compliments of
accepting.

please confirm that you will be able to attend by advising us of
your time —— we can arrange for you to be met. all
arrangements for your stay [overnight on april 10] will, of
course, be made by us at our expense.

yours faithfully,

亲爱的[哈里森先生]:

本公司新厂将于[4月10日]开始投产,希望能邀请[贤伉俪]来参加

邀请信是邀请亲朋好友或知名人士、专家等参加某项活

动时所发的约请性书信。在国际交往以及日常的各种社交活

动中,这类书信使用广泛。

邀请信分为两种:一种是正规的格式 (formal correspondence),
也叫做请柬;一种是非正规格式(informal correspondence),就是一
般的邀请信。

请柬通常有固定的格式, 应注意文字排列精心设计,一般以一个或
两个完整的意群为一行。一般用第三人称形式写作。

请帖有三种格式:

1. x invites you to a reception (party, etc.)at (place) on (date) at

(time).

2. you are warmly (cordially) invited to attend a reception

(party, etc.) at (place) on (date) at (time).

3. x requests the pleasure of your company (the company of

mr.y) at a reception (dinner, etc.) at (place) on (date) at

(time).


在这三种格式中,最后一种比较正式,其他两种比较随便。 除了上
述基本内容外,在请柬右下角一般还附有其他说明:一种是写
r.s.v.p.(请答复 ),再写电话号码;或写for regrets only,意思是:
如不能参加,请回话(反过来说 ,如能参加可不必答复)。一种是
注明需要穿哪类服装,如果写dress informal, dress optional,意
思是衣着随便;一般场合可不加注,或注lounge suit day dress;
正式场合注black tie.

邀请信作为信的一种形式可参照一般书信的格式去写。但要掌握好
下列几点:

1) 说明邀请对方参加什么活动、邀请的原因是什么。

2) 将活动安排的细节及注意事项告诉对方。诸如时间、地点、

参加人员、人数,做些什么样的准备及所穿的服饰等。

3) 为了方便安排活动,如有必要,可注明请对方予以回复看看
