聂鲁达简介

巴勃鲁·聂鲁达（Pablo Neruda， 19O4～ 1973）智利诗人。生于帕拉尔城。少年时代就喜爱写诗并起笔名为
聂鲁达，16岁入圣地亚哥智利教 育学院学习法语。 1928年进入外交界任驻外领事、大使等职。1945年被选为国
会议员，并获智 利国家文学奖，同年加入智利*。后因国内政局变化，流亡国外。曾当选世界和平理事会理事，获
斯大林 国际和平奖金。1952年回国，1957年任智利作家协会主席。1973年逝世。

聂鲁达13岁开始发表诗作，1923年发表第一部诗集《黄昏》，1924年发表成名作《二十首 情诗和一支绝望的
歌》，自此登上智利诗坛。他的诗歌既继承西班牙民族诗歌的传统，又接受了波德莱尔 等法国现代派诗歌的影响；
既吸收了智利民族诗歌特点，又从惠特曼的创作中找到了自己最倾心的形式。

主要作品还有《全体的歌》 ，《大地上的居所》等。

torturing regrets for wasted years, never know the burning shame of a mean and petty past; so live

In this symposium, better is it to only sit in silence. To express one's feelings as the end draws
near is too intimate a task. That I would mention only one thought that comes to me as a listener-in:
the riders in a race do not stop short when they reach the goal, there is a little finishing canter
before coming to a standstill, there is time to hear the kind voice of friends, and to say to oneself,
the work is done. But just as one says that, the answer comes, the race is over, but the work never
