Dear teachers,
students:
I am *ery happy to meet with you
here today to tell you
my speech is entitled
English, spread to all o*er the world,
people talk about
memorization. Since my time
in first grade began to learn
English, I was
not interested in it, but the third and fourth
grade, when a sudden interest in reading in
English e*ery
day, and e*en self-learning, to
raise a lot of English
results .
Now, my
greatest interest is the time to see the English.
Each weekend, I always find time to read
English books or
see on the English comic
books, information books, and e*en
outside the
time when shopping, but also with some English
information on the book, simply put it down.
Each school, I sometimes went to the library
of books on
English, a *iew that is 30
minutes, the har*est has been so
many.
Once again, the summer *acation, I went to the
United
Kingdom. Where I see a lot of the city,
this afternoon I ha*e

friends with the British dialogue in
English, but also know
a lot of knowledge of
English, they also compliment away一
extra-
curricular knowledge of the English book.
I
ha*e often in the Monday and Tuesday, when
listening
to English tapes, one is 3 hours.
Also frequently used
sentence patterns learned
re*iew again, I learned to feel
*ery proud.
The book in English class after school, but
also extra-
curricular English book out to
read, e*ery time I think: if
these extra-
curricular English read the end, learned that
their English, reading and writing is not
impro*ed. Therefore,
I, day and night, e*ery
day, reading, really English results
impro*ed
reading and writing, I am more proud of.
I
know that Rome was not built in a day. I belie*e
that
through continuous efforts to learn, one
day, I can speak
English *ery well.

My
name is Ilana Wexler. I'm 12 years old, and I am

founder of “Kids for Kerry.”
Kids
for Kerry is a grassroots organization of kids
that

support John Kerry,
want to help their futures, and get
acti*e in
politics.
When my parents went to see Teresa
Heinz Kerry speak,
they told me that she was
amazing! -- and that they thought
John Kerry
would make a great President. I decided to find
out more about John Kerry. I talk about what I
learned by
using my ABCs.
“A” is
America. John Kerry is a hero to America, and
he will help our futures. He is a great and
positi*e role
model.
“B” is Better
education. John Kerry wants to make class
sizes smaller, so that children get the best
part out of
learning. He wants to help
teachers because being a teacher
is educating
children, and letting them out into the world
to do good things.
“C” is Compassion
towards children. John Kerry wants
to make
sure that health care is not a pri*ilege, but it
is
something that we can all afford.
This summer, I was supposed to go to my fa*orite
camp.
But instead, I decided to go to the John
Kerry office e*ery
day. Kids can really help!
On , we ha*e an interacti*e presidential

quiz. There are 270
questions for the electoral *otes John
Kerry
will win. Plus, 25 questions to make up for
Florida
from the last election.
Our next
goal is to ha*e a petition for “National No
Name-Calling Day,” a day that the candidates
don't say
anything negati*e about one another.
When our Vice President
had a disagreement
with a Democratic senator, he used a
REALLY
BAD word.
If I said that -- If I said that
word, I would be put in
a “time-out.”
I
think he should be put in a time-out.
The
last time I saw John Kerry, he graadfdsed my arm
and
said, “See you at the con*ention.” And
here I am!
What will be e*en more amazing
will be the inauguration
in January, when we
ha*e a new President, knowing that kids
ha*e
made a difference in this election.
To
summarize, Teresa Heinz Kerry: Inspirational,
amazing!
John Kerry: American hero, next
President.
Kids need-Kids need positi*e-Kids
need positi*e role
models in politics. And our
Vice President deser*es a long
time-out.
