知识点
一、may
I introducesb（to you）？
我能把„„介绍给你吗？may这里表示“许可、可以”，比can委婉一些。
二、quite a lot
a lot用于表示“多”，既可以修饰可数名词也可用于不
可数名词，前面quite是副词“非
常”，quite a lot形容程度非常深，表示“非常多”
。类似quite一样表示“非常”的程
度副词还有pretty,
fairly等，这些词后面也可以直接跟名词。常见类似quite a
lot的组
合有pretty much, quite a few等等。

三、Tellsb about sth
告诉某人关于某事，这里的about也可以换成of，意思一样。类似的表达有tell
sbsth和
tell sthtosb，这里to表示对象; “让某人做某事”的表达为tell
sb to do sth。

Can you tell me your e-mail
address, please?
My boss told me to come
earlier tomorrow, for I have made some mistakes in

四、nothing unpleasant
“没有什么不愉快的”，修饰复合词的形容词应
该置于这些词后面，而非前面。复合不
定代词就是some-，any-，every-，no-
后面加thing、body、one，构成something, nothing,
anything, everything等。
I have something
newimportant to tell you.
Is there anything
interesting in your vacation (假期 )?Vocation （职业）
五、be happy about
“因„„而高兴”、“为„„而感到高兴”。
Mom wasn’t happy about Tess going off
travelling on her own.

happy常用的搭配还有happy to
do sth“做某事很高兴”，befeel happy for sb“为某人感到高
兴”。
John will be so happy to see you.

happy除了有“高兴的”意思，还有“幸福的”、“满意的”的意思。

一、let me introduce
you to sb
Let sb do sth，这里的do前面不加to，“让某人做某事”。
Let’s go.
Let’s continuego on.
在上一个对话我们已经学了一个用于“引荐”他人的表达：may I introduce
sb（to you），
除了本对话中的let me introduce you to
之外，还有：
I'd like you to meet Denise.

二、who+句子
Who+句子的结构在这里是用于修饰前面Mr.
Cai这个人的，who就是指代这个
人。

“我非常荣幸”，honor表示“荣誉”“给„„以荣誉”，I’m
honored用于回答别人对自己的
感谢。后面可以加to do
sth，表示“做某事很荣幸”。也可以说it’s my honor和it’s my

to do sth。
