一所985高校继续读英专业研究生，但是 回想起去年的4,5,6
这三个月份实在是太辛苦了啊！刚刚从专八的阴影中走出
来，马上又要 迎接毕业论文答辩的暴风雨。啊......就让暴风

还在这里苦逼的准备专八 ；别的专业都在到处奔波着找工
作，我们还在熬夜搞毕业论文；本来想从网上随便弄两篇论
文凑 凑吧，突然接到老师的消息说今年本科生的论文也要开
始查重！尼玛，为什么首当其冲的都是我们苦逼的 2012级
啊。小Q以前在一所师范院校就读，前一届的师范生不用参
加全国教师资格证考试可 以直接拿教师资格证，到了我们就
要自己去考；专八在全国考了20多年都没有改革，轮到我
们 就改的我们考了懵逼；现在毕业论文又要来虐我们一次！
好了，吐槽完毕。为了能够顺顺利利的毕业，我 们还是要过
好毕业论文这一关。毕业论文答辩对我们毕业生而言是非常
重要的。那么我们英专的 孩子该如何准备马上就要到来的答
辩呢？
论文答辩工作以及成绩计算 1、成立若干答辩 小组，每个
答辩小组应至少由3位教师组成，其中1人为组长，负责毕

业论文（ 设计）答辩的具体组织工作，并由学院指派1名秘
书负责记录工作。答辩结束后，答辩小组对学生的毕业 论文
（设计）及答辩情况等写出评语、确定成绩。答辩工作完成
后，教务处将聘请有关专家、老 师（或寄送外校）对毕业论
文（设计）进行抽查和复评（抽查面约10%），并以适当形
式公布 抽查和复评结果。
2、 毕业论文（设计）指导教师应按教务处时间要求交学生
的毕业论文 （设计）、指导教师的评阅意见及评分，由教务
将这些资料转交给答辩组。答辩组长指定一位老师作为评 阅
教师，填写毕业论文（设计）评语的“评阅教师评语”部分。
参与毕业论文评阅的2名老师成 绩评定相差在15分（不含）
以上的毕业论文不得进入答辩阶段；参与毕业设计评阅的两
名老师 成绩评定的平均分不及格者不得进入答辩阶段。
3、答辩小组成员应按照答辩小组组长的安排交叉评 阅本小
组能够进入答辩阶段的学生毕业论文（设计），根据毕业论
文（设计）要件、结构、论点 、论据、见解以及是否有抄袭
等情况，提出评阅意见和成绩建议。
4、答辩小组根据学生毕 业论文（设计）所讨论的主题，拟
出若干质疑问题，以即席回答或准备回答的方式让学生选择
回 答，每个学生的整个答辩过程控制在20－30分钟以内。
5.答辩的程序为：
1）学生首先介绍毕业论文（设计）的基本思想和主要内容；

（2）撰写毕业设计同学要对自己的设计进行演示；
（3）教师提问，学生回答问题等。答辩小组必须作好学生
答辩记录，给出学生答辩成绩。
6、总评成绩的计算。为了全面指导教师、毕业论文（设计）
评阅人和答辩小组对学生毕业论文 （设计）的评价，学生毕
业论文（设计）的总评
成绩计算方式如下： 每个学校的评分标准可 能不同，以小Q
所在的学校为例，论文（设计）写作成绩＝（指导教师评定
成绩乘以百分之四十 再加上答辩时的成绩乘以百分之六十）

presentation. They are literature review, gothic tradition , the
gothic style in the story and the causes of the gothic style .
This paper consists of six parts. Part one presents an
introduction to the author William Faulkner and A Rose for

Emily by pointing out the purpose and significance of this study.
Part two is literature review which introduces the relevant
research about this novel at home and abroad and then points
out the theoretical basis and methods. Part three gives a
timeline of the gothic tradition in literature and explains the
main characteristics of gothic works. Part four explains the three
aspects of the gothic style in the novel，that is, the death theme,
grotesque characters and mystic atmosphere. Part five then
explains in detail the causes of the gothic style in this novel:
patriarchal oppression, the myth of southern ladyhood and
Emily’s attitude towards love. Finally, in the conclusion, the
author summarizes the previous parts and emphasizes the
significance of the argument of the thesis again.

Translation. I choose this as my topic due to the following
reasons. Different languages have different standards to

distinguish parts of speech. Each language has its own special
structure. And there are no equivalent parts of speech between
different languages. In order to make the target version more
idiomatic and standard, the transformation of parts of speech is
always used by translators. So the transformation of parts of
speech is playing a more important role in English to Chinese
based on different characteristics of English and Chinese. For
the above facts, I select the subject of“On Transformation of
parts of speech”as the title of my paper.
I hope by studying this topic we can know the importance of the
transformation of parts of speech in English to Chinese
translation. Through transformation, we can get the better
version and improve the translation skills.
The way of thinking and expressing is quite different between
Chinese and English. English is a kind of static languages which
tends to use more nouns. While Chinese is a dynamic one in
which verbs are often used.
So when we make translation in English to Chinese, we should
know this point and shift the parts of speech.
Next, it is an outline of my paper. In the main part of this paper,
I divide it into five parts. Part one presents an introduction to the
basic concepts of parts of speech and transformation.

Part two discusses the definition of translation and emphasizes
the importance of transformation of parts of speech in the course
of translation.
Part three gives four basic ways of transformation of parts of
speech through illustrative examples. There are transformed
English words into Chinese verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs.
Part four presents some problems about transformation and
gives some advise to solve the problems.
Part five draws some conclusions that transformation between
parts of speech is necessary for us to achieve good translation. It
is demonstrated that we can have a good master of
transformation andimprove the translation. In addition, we must
continuously study and explore in all kinds of translation
practices.
