ppt, recording, video, letter cards and the English alphabets.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Warming- up
1. Greetings.
2. Say “Hello” to each other.
Eg: How are you? I’m fine, thank you. Nice to meet you…ect.
Step 2: Revision of Unit 1-4
the patterns drills of Unit 1
1) Have a dialogue.(Show it on the screen.)
Gogo: Hello!
Tony: Hi!
G: I’m Gogo. What’s your name ?
T: I’m Tony.
G: Nice to meet you, Tony.
T: Nice to meet you, Gogo.
G: Goodbye.
T: Bye.
2)Big groups ask and answer.
3) Practice in pairs.
4) Ask the pupils to come up and act out the dialogue.
5)Sing a song” What’s your name?”
2. Review the words and patterns drills of Unit 2


1) Teacher use the real objects, ppt, then play the guessing
game: draws the pictures of “a
pencil, a book, a ruler, a desk, a chair, a table” to ask and a
nswer with the pupils.
Eg: T: What’s this? P: It’s a pencil book, ruler, desk, chair,
table.
2) Open the books at P13 and practice in pairs.
3)Let’s chant.(First following the video, then look at the pictures
drawn by the teacher.)
3. Review the words and patterns drills of Unit 3
1) Use the words and patterns drills above to elicit the sentence
patterns:
Is this a ______? Yes, it , it isn’t. It’s a _______.

2) Look at the and play a guessing game.(Use the ppt.)

Eg:TP 1: Is this a ______?

3) Do a guessing game.(ppt. Use the photos of the pupils in the c
lass, first show pictures of Tony, Jenny, Meiyangyang, Yaoming.)

2) Recite the letters.(First the whole class recite the letters, the
