小学英语《What do you want to
drink?》教学设计
1. Students can understand the meaning of the
new
words, such as cola, tea, milk and
Soup.
2. Students can use the sentence
pattern to express the
beverage they like to
drink.
Ability aims
Students will improve
their memorize ability through
pictures and
can make connection between English
words to
real objects in life.
Emotional aim
Students will be confident to communicate with
others
in English and can cooperate with
others in group work.
II Teaching Key
&Difficult Points
Key point:
students can
master the meaning of new words as well
as
sentence pattern.
Difficult point:
students can express the topic about drink in
real
situation and will be more confident in
English speaking.
III Teaching
procedures:
Step 1: Warming up
Sing an
English song named apple apple with students,
the content of the song is that apple round
apple red,
apple juicy apple sweet, apple
apple I love you ,apple
sweet and I love to
eat.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Show some
pictures about different drink, ask them
how
to speak in English, and then introduce the new
words, draw different containers to represent
different
kinds of drink.
2. Teacher read
the words one time and students read
them
three times;
3. Play a word game named finger
show, divide students
into different groups,
number the new words on the
blackboard, when
teacher show one finger, students
should read
the first word on the blackboard, when
teacher
show them two fingers, students should read
the second word.
Step 3: Practice
1.
Students listen to the tape and answer some
questions such as:
(1) What dose
Simon want to eat?
(2) What dose Simon want to
drink?
(3) How much is cola?
2. Teacher
asks students what do they want to eat, and
how much dose it cost.
Step 4: Production
Four students work in a group to make role
play about
the conversation, and play it on
the stage, teacher will
give some comments
according to their performance. If
there is
any mistake in their pronunciation, I will
encourage them to try to read them more times
to help
them correct it.
Step 5: Summary &
Homework
Students read the new words and the
dialogue together.
Homework: Draw some
pictures that they like to drink,
write down
the English expression at the end of the
pictures, and color them, and share their work
with the
classmates in next class.
