● Good morning, my dear teachers. I’m
glad to interpret my teaching design
here.
1. 教学内容 (体现教材的整合)
The teaching content is
Part B let’s learn, of Unit 2, PEP Primary
English, Book
5 . The topic is about week.
Now, I will explain the lesson from the following
aspects.
It includes 2 parts: let’s
learn and group work . it mainly deals with these
key phrases wash my clothes, watch TV, do
homework, read books play
football. And the
sentence patterns: Do you often wash your clothes
on the
weekend? Yes, I do.
The Ss have
already known the sentence patterns: Do you…? Yes,
I do. No, I
don’t . which can help Ss
understand and practice the key phrases.
So,
The objectives are.
①
The language
knowledge.
Enable Ss to listen, speak, read
and write the phrases: wash my clothes,
watch
TV, do homework, read books, play football and the
sentence pattens:
Do you often wash your
clothes on the weekend? Yes, I do. No, I don’t.

The language skills.
Ss are able to talk about weekend activities
in English.
③
The emotional aim.
To help students
arrange their spare time properly and take various
meaningful activities on the weekend.

The main points: The key phrases: wash my
clothes, watch TV, do
homework, read books,
play football.
The difficult point: talk
about the weekend activities with the
sentence
pattens: Do you …on the weekend? Yes, I do. No, I
don’t.
3. 教法学法
In this lesson, I will
mainly use “Task-based teaching method”,
“Communicative
language teaching method” and
“TPR teaching method”, and so on.
4. 教学过程
Next, let’s focus on the teaching procedures.
Step 1. Greeting and Warming-up
.
After greeting with the Ss, I will begin the
lesson by singing the song Days of
week
together with the Ss.
Purpose:
The
purpose of this is to form a better English
learning surrounding for the Ss,
and, at the
same time, it provides situations to review the
learnt knowledge
about week.
Step 2.
Presentation.
With the help of the PPT, I set
a situation of weekend plan
by Ss doing various activities
to stimulate the Ss’ interest of the lesson.
By playing the PPT, I present the main
phrases: and the sentence pattens:
And then, Practice with a S: Do you often…?
Yes, I do. No, I don’t. Then
Ss practice in
pairs.

The purpose of this is to
present the new words and sentences in the
situation,
which relates to the Ss’ real life
experiences, to help the Ss understand the
language easily .
(After presenting each
new phrase, I will impart the knowledge of
pronunciation
rules in teaching the new words.
It can facilitate the Ss’ abilities to
pronounce the words, and help them to
remember
the spelling of the words.)
Step3. Practice
1. Guessing game (T act, Ss guess, then, one S
act, the others guess.)
2. Pair work
The
purpose of these is to practice the main points of
this lesson, master the
phrases and sentences
and to get ready for the language output.
Step 4. Extension
In this step, I will
give Ss a free space to show their abilities.
I will show them a survey task using the
phrases and patterns and main
sentences A:
What do you often do on the weekend?
B: I often…
A: Do you often
B: Yes, I do. No, I don’t.
Then, make a model for them
The activity is to develop Ss’ ability of
communication, and also, their ability of
cooperation will be well developed.
Step
5. Conclusion
In this step, I will guide the
Ss to conclude the key phrases
And sentences
The purpose of this is to stimulate Ss’
interest of learning English and wide their
knowledge about communication across cultures.
And also, I will show some pictures
The homework is 1. 2.
The purpose is to
master the main points well and use them in our
daily life

And, this is my layout
design. It`s tidy and clear ,it can help ss
understand the
main points well.
According
to the New Curriculum, my design concept is to
enable students form
the primary ability of
using English and develop humanistic quality by
learning
English.
