小学英语特岗面试说课稿
新疆阜康市-领导讲话心得体会
Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I’m ***, today
I’m very pleased to
have an opportunity to
talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is
Wildlife Protection, taken from Period 2 of
Unit 4 in NSE(new senior
English) Book 2. It’s
made up of four parts.
Part1 My
understanding of this lesson
The analysis of
the teaching material:
This lesson is reading.
It plays a very important part in the English
teaching of this unit. In the first period, we
have learned the new words
and done the
warming-up and pre-reading. By studying period 2,
ss(students) can improve their reading
ability, learn more about wildlife
and
wildlife protection.
At the same time, I want
to get the ss to understand some difficult
sentences to comprehend the passage better.
The ss are asked to do some
listening,
speaking and writing, too. Of course, the ss could
also achieve
some moral education about how
human beings could protect the wildlife
and
live with them.
Teaching aims:
1.
Knowledge aim: Understand the main idea of the
text.
2. Ability aim: Retell the text in their
own words.
3. Emotional aim: Realize the
importance of wildlife protection and
environment protection.
Key points
Teaching important points:
How to understand
the text better?
Teaching difficult points:
1. Use your own words to retell the text.
2. Realize the importance of wildlife
protection and environment
protection.
Something about the ss:
1. The ss have
some difficulties to discuss about wildlife,
because they
have seldom opportunities to see
the wildlife by themselves.
2. They are lack
off vocabulary.
3. They don’t often use
English to express themselves and communicate
with others.
4. Some ss are not active in
the class because they are afraid of making
mistakes or being shy to speak in public.
Part2 My teaching theories, methods and aids
Before dealing with this lesson, I’ll do my
best to carry out the
following theories:
Make the ss the real master in the class while
the teacher himself
acts as the director;
Combine the language structures with the
language functions;
Let the ss receive some
moral education while they are learning the
English language.
Teaching methods:
Double activities teaching method
Free
discussion method
Question-and-answer activity
Watch-and-listen activity
Individual work,
pair work and plenary work method
Teaching
aids:
1. a projector 2. a tape recorder 3.
multimedia 4. the blackboard
Part 3
Teaching stepsprocedure
I have designed the
following steps to train their ability of
listening,
speaking, reding and writing,
especially reading ability.
The entire
steps are: Greetings, Revision, Lead-in and
preparation for
reading, Fast
reading(scanning), Listening, Intensive reading,
Preparation
for details of the text,
Consolidation, Discussion, and Homework.
Step1
Greetings
Greet the whole class as usual.
Step2 Revision
Ask ss some questions to
revise the last lesson(show them on the screen).
1. Can you remember the endangered animals in
the report?
2. What other endangered animals
do you know of?
3. Why are they in
danger of disappearing?
Through this part we
can consolidate what they studied yesterday,
and prepare for the new lesson.
Step3
Lead-in and preparation for reading
Show
them some pictures and let them talk with each
other, and then,
use the pictures about some
endangered animals to learn new words, for
example panda, south China tiger, milu dear,
golden monkey and
antelope.
Purpose:
Arouse the ss’ interest of study
Bring in
new subject: Wildlife Protection
Step4 Fast
reading
Read the passage as quickly as they
can. I show the questions on the
screen and
let them get the main idea of each paragraph:
1. Who took the journey?
2. What three
places has she been to?
3. What endangered
animals are they?
4. What problems face the
animals?
Method: Read the text individually,
use question-and-answer activity.
Purpose:
Improve the ss’ reading ability. Understand the
general idea of
each paragraph.
Step5 Listening(book closed)
to
the tape then do an exercise(page27, part2)
or false exercise(on the screen)
Train the
ss’ listening ability and prepare for later
exercises.
Step6 Intensive reading
Read
the passage carefully again and answer some
detailed
questions on the screen.
has the
antelope in Tibet become an endangered species?
does the government of Zimbabwe help protect
wild animals?
is it important to protect the
rain forest?
Purpose:
Further understand
the text, to find out some difficult sentences and
details of the text.
Step7 Preparation for
details of the text(on the screen)
1. Long to
do sth.
2. In relief
3. Protect from
4. Pay attention
Purpose: Train the ss’
ability of understanding and using language.
Step8 Consolidation
out the topic
sentences.
the passage according to the topic
sentences.
Purpose: I want to know if
my ss understand the whole text really and if
they master what I mean to tell them in this
class. What’s more, I want to
let them have
the ability of introducing and analyzing
expression. At the
same time, I will write
down the topic sentences on the blackboard
according to what the ss find, so they can
retell it easily.
Step9 Discussion
Show
them some pictures about the endangered animals
and ask
them: What are their opinions about
it? In order to let them have free
choice, I
gave them another topic: The nature is being
polluted, what
should we do?
Purpose:
I mean to give them emotional education. I
give them multi-media
pictures to arouse their
interest of study and their love for life. I mean
to
make them realize: The wildlife are in
danger!
I teach them to do their best to help
it and do sth. from now on.
Everyone should do
sth. to love and protect the wildlife.
Step10
Homework
Write a letter to WWF, asking them
to help you to save a kind of
endangered
animal.
I want to improve the ability of
their writing. At the same time, train
the
ability of do-it-yourself and looking up
information by themselves.
Part4
Blackboard design
Unit4 Wildlife Protection
Topic sentences:
fur is being used to
make sweaters for people like you.
the
government decided to help.
should pay more
attention to the rain forest.
Discussion
1. What are your opinions about these
pictures?
2. The nature is being polluted,
what should we do?
In my opinion, the
blackboard design can reflect the teachers’
ability
of mastering the text and leading the
ss to master the text easily.
In this text,
the design is not easy to write. I write the topic
sentences
on the blackboard in order to tell
the ss that this is of the importance in
this
class. The discussion is of the difficulty.
I
want to make the design inductive, instructive and
artistic.
Thanks for your patience.
