Good morning, teachers! I am competitor
No__. Today I am going to say something about my
teaching plan for Go For it Grade __ Unit__
“Which season do you like best?” --- the ____
period in Part A.
To make my presentation
much clearer, I’ll describe my thoughts in the
following 6 parts: analysis
of teaching
material, analysis of students, teaching and
learning methods, teaching procedures,
blackboard design and my educational idea. Now
please allow me to present my design here.
Part 1 Analysis of teaching material.
·Status and function
内容
The content
is close to is related to the students' real
life, which is easy to raise student’s learning
interests and draw their attention.
作用
This course offers a very good chance for Ss
to improve their four skills request of listening,
speaking, reading, and writing.
·Teaching aims
Based on the new curriculum
standard,the teaching objects are as follows.
Knowledge object is is grasping the new words
and phrases such as____________. and learning
the sentence pattern

According to the teaching material and
the students' characteristics, I think the key
points are
helping the students master the key
vocabularies, and master the usage of the target
languages.

the students retell the story with the help of

二. Analysis of student
Primary
school students have strong interests in English
study. Their image thinking ability is
comparatively strong. And they own the ability
to complete tasks by team cooperation. However,
their attention can be scattered easily.
三. Teaching methods
According to the
students physical and mental characteristics,I
will adopt task-based
language teaching
method, and competition method to improve the
students’ enthusiasm. I will
design a variety
of activities, let the students learn to play and
play to learn.
四. Learning methods
At the same time, students can get comprehensive
language using skills by autonomic learning,
cooperating, and exploring.

Teaching procedures
Now, I’m going to talk
about the most important part---- teaching
procedures.
Let’s try
Step 1 Preparation
Before the
class, I will divide Ss’ into 6 groups. At the
beginning of the class, I will greet to my
students, and play the song of unit 1
“___________”, we will sing together.
(涉及复习:Then I will invite students to have a
little conversation to review the words and
important sentences we have learnt yesterday.)
The purpose of this step is to arouse their
learning interests and try to let Ss’ focus on the
class.
Step2 Presentation
First, I
will use PPT to show them some pictures about the
new words in Let’s try, such as
__________. We
will learn and talk about these words. Then I will
show the pictures in Let’s try,
and remind
them to read about all the useful information they
can get in this exercise, and try to
guess
what will be discussed in the listening material.
Task1
I will explain the exercise to Ss’
and ask them to be ready to start the listening
journey. I
will play the mp3 for the first
time, and ask them to focus on the meaning of
material. And I will
check their results by
asking a few simple questions. I will Invite some
C rank students to
announce their results.
Those who do a great job will get one point for
their group. Then I will
play the mp3 for the
second time, and let Ss’ try to click out the
right answer. And I will play it for
the third
time, so students will verify their answers.
Besides, I may play the mp3 multiple times if
it’s necessary.
This task aims to improve
Ss’ listening ability. And most importantly focus
on listening skills.
Task 2
I
will use the multi-media to play a short movie
which is related to the content of Let’s talk.
Ss’ will be attracted to the movie and
basically know the situation of this topic. Then I
will use the
same pictures which I just used
in Let’ try, and formally show them the sentence
patterns on the
screen. By reading those
sentences multiple times in multiple ways such as
ask and answer, one by
one(接龙) and other
games, students will grasp those sentences. And of
course, Ss’ who do a great
job will get 1
point to their group.
The purpose of this task
is to arouse Ss’ imaginations and learning
interests in English
studying. So Ss’ will get
excited to talk in English and learn the sentence
patterns of this unit.
Step3 Practice
Task1
Let Ss work in groups and
talk about the content of the picture. Then try to
guess what will
be discussed in Let’s talk.
Then I will play the video of Let’s talk for the
first time, after that they
need to answer
this question,” What song do the children like?”.
In the mean time they can check
their previews
guess. Then I will play it for the second time,
students will discuss with their
partners and
answer these two questions. NO1: Which season does
Mike like best? Why? NO2:
Which season does
Wu Yifan like best? Why?
This task aims to
test their learning results in an actual
situation. And train their reading
ability and
guessing skills.
Task2
I will play
the video of Let’s talk again, students will read
after it. I will specially focus on
their
pronunciations, and I will correct them in time.
This task aims to train their spoken English.
Step4 Production
I will invite Ss’
to have a role play and encourage them to do a
race. Students will work in
groups. They will
read the passage aloud in their own decided way. I
will specifically emphasize
that they need to
read it with emotions. They will have a few
minutes for preparations. After that, I
will
randomly invite 3 groups to present their results.
And of course the way of presentation is all
up to them. But the judge will be the group
next to the one who answers the questions. They
can
choose a leader to give a mark from one to
five, and the leader can also give comments to the
groups.
Setting a proper competition and
mutual evaluation are very good ways to improve
students’
motivations and enthusiasm.
Step5 Produce
Finish the exercise in
Ask and answer. After that, I will systematically
summarize today’s key
points. At last I will
count their final scores and pick up today’s
winning one. The winning group
will earn a
star. At the end of every week, the group who owns
the most stars will become the star
group of
this week and win their rewards.
The purpose
of this step is helping Ss to apply their
knowledge into new conditions. In the
meantime, I can evaluate students’ study
results.
Step6 homework
Write a diaryarticle with simple past tense. do a
survey about the _______. have some
research
on_______ collect the information about ________.
Preview the content of tomorrow’s
lesson.
六Blackboard design:
Finally, I will talk
about my blackboard design.
I will write the
key words and sentence patterns on the blackboard,
just let the students easily
to remember and
understand.
