可能不是很了解这个节日，可以用中文介绍这个节日的由
来，让学生对这个节日有一个大概的了解。）
(国旗日是纪念美国大陆会议1777年6月14日通过了美国第一面正
式国旗。目前，每逢是
日，到处可见美国国旗迎风飘扬，全国各地都
要举行纪念活动，以示对国旗的敬意。每到这一天，美国的
各公共场
所、大型建筑、家里都挂国旗，各州还举行各种纪念仪式。其最重要
的仪式就是在国旗
下进行忠诚宣誓。于1949年正式确认6月14日为
美国国旗日。)

有一个了解。每年的11月的最后一个星期四（the last Thursday

November）就是美国的Thanksgiving Day，就是感恩节。几百年前，<
br>远渡重洋来到美洲的英国移民，为了感谢上帝赐予的丰收，进行了狂
欢活动，从此习俗延续下来了
，并逐渐风行各地。)
（设计意图：用中文具体介绍这两个节日，使学生更好的深入理解课
文，了解西方的节日文化。）

(课文播放三遍，第一遍：了解故事大意，明确主题，形成整体印象。
第二遍：
弄懂比较容易理解和掌握的句子，大致明确难点在哪里，试
着猜测生词的意思。尝试概括全文的大意。第
三遍：尝试理解较难的
句子，结合上下文和插图理解句意，逐渐把握全文并找出问题的答案。)
（设计意图：试着猜测生词的意思，提高学生猜词的能力和阅读的能
力。）
学习本课主要的单词和难理解的句子
1、板书：festival, special,
meal, sound
利用单词卡片教新单词可以放到句子中理解。(全班读，小组读，个
别读。)

(在第一遍是认真的听，并且加深对刚才所学单词的读音。在听第二
遍后回答黑板上的问题。在
第三次放录音的时候，让学生跟读课文中
的句子，每句之后停顿，让学生重点模仿句子的语音语调。)
