一、 教材分析
(一)教材的地位与作用
本课是新目标英语八年级上册第
8单元SectionB:2a-2e,中心话题是Thanksgiving in the United
States主要围绕这一主题展开各种教学活动,旨在让学生了解美国的感恩节,学会用英语
描述制作火鸡餐的过程和步骤,并以这一主题引出重点教学内容祈使句。
(二)教学目标
根据《英语课程标准》,结合教材实际,我确立本课教学目标如下:
1知识目标:
词汇:
Thanksgiving, traditional, autumn,
traveler, celebrate.
语言结构:祈使句
2能力目标:
学会用英语描述制作火鸡餐的过程和步骤。
(三)教学重点及难点
重点:1、描述制作香蕉奶昔过程。2、祈使句
难点:祈使句
二 学情分析 初中生的抽象思维能力低,形象思维能力强,但注意力易分散。本课拟以课件形式展示,利
用多媒体
的图片,声音,及动画增强学生的兴趣和注意力。根据教育心理学,如果学生对某
件事物感兴趣,他们会
排除各种消极因素,尽量全身心投入到学习中去。
三 教法渗透
1 教学法
主要
运用任务型教学法。《新目标英语》中的具体语言目标是通过各种各样的Tasks来实现
的,学生要运
用具体特定的行为来完成一定的交际任务,在整个教学过程中,语言结构和功
能,都与不同的学习任务有
机结合,通过参与及完成任务获取知识和经验,因此本课我将主
要运用任务型教学法,引导学生通过完成
制作香蕉奶昔的任务活动来学习语言,描述程序。
让学生在用中学,学以致用(Learn by
using ,learn for using)。
此外,我还将辅以情景交际法。尽量给学生以足
够多的听,说,读的机会,联系课文实际,
创设情景,在交际中学英语。
2教学手段
多媒体辅助教学:用 ppt 软件将本课所需图片,录音和文字信息制成课件,使抽象的语言
变得直观,为学生运用英语进行交际创设情景,实现师生互动,生生互动和人机互动的多向
交流。
四 教学步骤:
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
1. Daily greeting. Check the homework.
2. 头脑风暴: 将下列名词分为可数名词与不可数名词。 1) milk 2) tomato

II. Lead-in
S1:First,
put half a cup of corn into the popcorn machine.
S2:
Next, turn on the machine. S3: Then, pour
the popcorn into a bowl. S4: Finally, put some
salt.

the article and the pictures. Can you guess what
the passage is
mainly about? Let some Ss try
to guess the meaning of the passage. (It’s about
the turkey dishes in
Thanksgiving in the
