2. Review the sentences: (showing pictures)

Ss: He is going to the supermarket.
II. Presentation
Step. Part A
1. T: This is a story about an elephant. What do you see in Picture 1? What
do you see in the street ?
Help Ss answer: There is…
2. T: Look at Picture 2. Do you know where they are going? Let's guess. OK! They
are going…
Ss: They are going to the zoo.
3. T: Look at Picture 3. What colour is the traffic light now?
Ss: Green.
T: Yes, the traffic light is green. Let’s go.

I. warm-up
1. Daily oral practice
T: How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you!
1. Review the words.
Showing the pictures of park. Make Ss speak out the name of the object.
II. Presentation
Step1. Part A
1. Read out the place name and ask the Ss to put up the corresponding card.
2. Ask Ss to listen to the tape and point to the corresponding card. After
listening several times, make the Ss speak out the place names on the pictures.
3. Put up the picture on the Bb and ask: “What's this?” or “What can you see?”
Ss: It’s a boat. There is a boat on the lake.
Step 2. Part B
1. Listen to the tape and follow it.

2. Ask Ss to practice in pairs:
S1: There are trees in the park.
S2: They are big.
S2: There are flowers in the park.

3. Listen to the tape and sing the English song.
4. Homework:

To learn the new words and new sentences about describing park.
II. Teaching points
New words (queen, skirt, teacher, under, ruler).
Learn the way of using the word of “in” and “on”.
Learn to write letter size. Qq, Ss, Tt, Uu, Rr
III. Teaching materials
Flash cards, tape and recorder.
Student’s cards,
Pictures of touring.
IV. Teaching Procedure
I. warm-up
1. Daily oral practice
T: How is the weather today?
Ss: It’s fine.
2. Review the words.
Showing the pictures of the object names in the park and ask the Ss to speak
out the English words.

T: Can you spell it and write the first letter of the word.
S1: Yes, we can.
T: And next write the uppercase and lowercase of the letter?
S2: Yes.
3. Make Ss practice in other pictures.(queen, skirt, ruler, teacher, under.)
4. Homework:
Write the uppercase and lowercase of the letter Qq, Rr, Ss, Tt, Uu.
