教材分析
本单元以问身高，体重，鞋码为主要话题展开教学，设计了关于比身高，
比体重的一系列情景对话和任 务型活动，形式包括阅读理解、听力练习和游戏
任务。学生在以前已经接触过“How old are you?”，已经会用“I am years old.”
来对年级来提问和回答，在此基础上我们学习“How tallheavy are yo u?”并能根
据具体情况运用taller,shorter,younger,older,long er 等形容词比较级进行相应的回
答。通过本单元的学习。在实践、合作中培养学生的学习兴趣和积极 的学习态
度，发展学生的语言运用能力和交际能力。
【知识目标】
1.四会词汇:younger, older, taller, shorter, longer
2.三会词汇:dinosaur, hall, metre, than, both
3.重点句型:⑴—How tall are you? —I’m 1.61 metres.
⑴Wu Yifan is taller than John, but Zhang Peng is taller than Wu Yifan.

（1）教师在黑板上贴上一些人物的图像，让学生分辨
Who is tall strongoldyoungshort?，然后让学生回答。

（1）教师指着比较高的Tom和比较矮的Wuyifan问
Who is tall ?

简单介绍形容词的比较级第一 种情况是在形容词的后面直接
加“er”.本课时的几个单词都属于这种变化。

教材分析
本单元主要是使学生学会用过去过去式态表达所做的事情，重点句型是：
What did you do last weekendyesterday? I played football. Did you read
books? Yes, I , I didn’t.由于涉及动词过去式的变化规则和读音
规则，一般过去式有时学生的学习重难点之一。
本单元的内容安排体现了由浅入深、循序渐进的原则，A部分着重学习规
则动词的过去式变化， 而B部分的重点是不规则动词的过去式变化，如：go
—went， read—read等。在教学中 ，要注意多创设情境，帮助学生内化，达
到学以致用。C部分是拓展内容。

（1）能够对过去某人所做的事情进行问答，如:What did you do yesterday? I
visited my grandparents.
