一、本课教学目标
1. 能够借助图片和其他阅读策略读懂本单元的故事。
2.
能够在教师的指导下朗读故事；能够复述或表演故事。
3. 能够根据故事内容完成B项活动。
二、教学建议
1. 读前活动。
先请学生仔细观察故事的图片，思考乡下老鼠是否
喜欢城市。教师可以在此环节提出
问题：Does Country Mouse like the
city? How do you
know?学生通过观察，有了自己的
答案，然后请学生在小组内交流一下各自的答案。
Tip: 课本中的故事都配有图片，教师在进行故事教学时要充分利用图片。这个
环节主要是
训练学生的观察能力，让学生养成从图片中获取信息的习惯。
2. 读中活动。
(1) 学
生交流了各自的答案后，教师给学生充分的时间自己阅读故事，了解故事的大
意。阅读后，教师请学生回
答问题：Does Country Mouse like the city?
(2) 学生将刚
才的讨论和自己的阅读后的思考，分享给全班。大家看到第21页第五幅
图旁的两句话：Country
Mouse does not like the city. He wants to go
home.由此得出结
论。
Tip: 这是个很有名的传统故事。教师应借用这个大家耳熟能
详的故事，挖掘其
深意，培养学生批判性阅读的思维习惯，不使这个故事教学流于俗套。例如：教
师可抛出一个问题：Does Country Mouse really dislike the
city? 引导学生观察课
文前几个场景，Country Mouse wants to see
a film first. He goes to the cinema with
City
Mouse. He also wants to go to the supermarket to
have some ice-cream. In the
beginning he
really liked the city.
3. 读后拓展活动。
(1)
教师请学生再次读故事，尝试完成下面的表格：

Tip: 教师一定给学生留出足够的时间阅读故事，完成表格。如果学生独立完成
任务有困难
，可以小组合作完成表格。
这个表格实际上是对故事结构的解读，学生能完成填表，即能对文章结构有清楚
的认识。
如果学生不认识某些项目名称，教师要解释清楚，再让他们开始填表。

教师根据表格中的项目向学生提出如下几个问题：
When does the story
happen?
Where does the story happen?
Who
is in the story?
What happened at the
beginning of the story?
What happened in the
middle of the story?
What happened at the end
of the story?
学生回答问题，同时订正表格答案。
Tip:
此表格可以作为学生复述故事的一个语言支撑。
(3)
请学生根据对故事的理解，完成故事后面B项练习，这个练习里的问题都是有关
故事细节的问题。
(4) 教师请学生尝试自己朗读故事。
(5) 教师播放故事录音，请学生一边听录音一边
指着句子跟读故事。播放录音的遍数
根据学生实际朗读的情况而定。
Tip:
跟读时，教师要提醒学生注意模仿语音、语调。
(6) 学生在小组内分角色朗读故事
。一个学生扮演城市老鼠，一个学生扮演乡下老鼠，
第一个学生读旁白。然后请学生三人一组进行朗读展
示。
(7) 学生拿出故事线索（Story
Clue）表格，根据表格上的项目提示，尝试用自己的话
复述故事。
(8) 学生在小组内
复述故事。然后请几位学生代表复述故事。教师可以把故事的六幅
图用挂图或课件形式展示出来，供学生
复述用。
备选活动
活动1: 图文匹配与创编故事。
1.
教师可以分别呈现故事插图和句子，请学生进行图片和文字的匹配。
2.
教师可以请学生讨论并回答以下问题：
Country Mouse does not like
the city. Why?
One day, City Mouse goes to the
country. Does he like the country or not?
Do
you like the country or the city? Why?
3.
请学生自己发挥想象，合作创编一个City Mouse到农村去看望Country Mouse
的故事，并表演出来。
活动2: 换个角度看故事。
这个故事的文字是由叙述性语
句和两个老鼠的对话组成。由于学生没有学过直接引语
与间接引语的转化，教师将课本里的原文改成叙述
性段文，让学生阅读。
Country Mouse and City Mouse
One day Country Mouse goes to the city to see
his cousin, City Mouse. City Mouse
meets him
at the bus station. Country Mouse wants to see a
film first.
The cinema is not far, so they go
there on foot. There are so many people in the
cinema. They can’t get any tickets. Then they
want to go to a supermarket for some
ice-
cream.
Country Mouse tries to cross the street
by himself, but the street is busy. There are
so many people, so many cars and so many buses
on the street.
Country Mouse is so tired. He
does not like the city, and he loves the country.
He
wants to go home. Finally he gets back home
and is happy again.
Tip: 注意Country Mouse
and和City Mouse之前没有冠词。
