Lesson1. At the Airport

教学目标:
1.学会用“What time is it ? It’s …”描述具体的时间。
2.了解并运用所学的语言知识在实际的生活中进行熟练的交际。
重点:能听、说、读、写句子“What time is it ?It’s…”及单词“o’clock”的用
法。

教学过程:
Step1: Warming—up
Play a game: Simon Says.
(设计意图: 轻松的氛围总是学习英语成功的保证,要让学生在身心愉悦中开始一节课

Step2: Revision.
(1)Have a free talk with the students: Hello, What did you do in this summer
holiday? Did you have a good trip?

Step1 .师生交流
1.T:Good morning boys and girls. Nice to meet you!
S: Nice to meet you, too!
T: In today’s class,we are gonging to study some rooms first.
Before the class look at picture and“spell it ” to review the words : house ,
bedroom ,bed .通过这些情境问话,复习旧知 识,拉近师生之间的距离,让学生身临其
境,与生活实际息息相关,使学生的语言知识得到实际应用。
Step 2 Presentation and practice
(1)Teach the new words : room , kitchen , bathroom , living room .
利用多媒体课件出示各个房间的图片进行新单词的教学,其间穿插生活情景问话和
句子:①Do you like this room? ②Which room do you think the best.等等.同时
练习新单词可以利用多种形式进行巩固 ①Read after me②Read one by one④Read by
themselves⑤Play a game (游戏加大难度巩固记忆,同时锻炼学生听的能力和理解能
力)
(2)、Teach the word of bedroom :What’s in the bedroom?
变换角色,新旧知识灵活运用。

让学生当一回老师,向同学生指出卧室内的物品bed closet door dresser
lamp window.
(3)、Teach the text


1) Play the tape as the students follow in their books.

将学生四人分为一组。先画出自家房子的布局草图,然后模拟带朋友进家做客情境进行对话,介绍自家房子。

师出示上四个单词图片,领读并板书四个单词和This is_______.出示幻灯片 四幅蔬菜
及位置图片,问:What's this? Where is it?
再看光盘,学生跟读,训练学生的听力,掌握准确的发音。小学生善于模仿,他们
能通过听标准的示范,模仿并练习从而学会发音。
然后学生自由读、小组合作读、教师领读,运用多种形式让学生体会单词的发音,
记忆单词及句式。

用实物演示单词,一边洗盘子,一边说下面的话:

一、教材分析
本单元重点讲述Li Ming来到加拿大后在Jenny家 发生的事情。本课教学内容是要让学
生了解Jenny家客厅的物品摆放及Jenny家人在客厅中的活 动。通过本课学习,要让学
生用自己的语言来谈论客厅里的物品,并要求学生运用现在进行时这一时态来 描述人们
在living room中的活动。
二、教学目标
1.知识与技能目标
(1)听、说、读、写客厅里的物品———TV,chair,couch,以及描述或介绍各个房间< br>及房间里的物品的名称、颜色、位置等。
(2)能够牢固掌握现在进行时,并将之灵活运用到课 文图片的谈论及实际生活中,就
家人在家里的活动用现在进行时进行简单、准确的描述。
2.情感及文化目标
(1)激发学生听英语、说英语、用英语和他人进行交流的兴趣,敢于用 英语进行表达,

设计意图:询问学生客厅里有什么,顺便引出了本课的重点生词chair, TV和
couch,起到 了一箭双雕的双重作用。通过对Jenny家客厅的反复谈论,既突出了趣味


性,又给学 生提供了获取成功和自信的机会,使这些词汇深深印在了学生的脑海里,为
下一步的学习提供了良好的心 理准备。What can you do in the living room?这是个
拓展性很强的问题,这会使学生的语言自然流露,使语言与实际生活紧密联系。
(三) Step 3: Game
教师让一个学生看动词短语,然后做动作,其他同学回答What is heshe doing? What
are youthey doing? 和What am I doing?。教师把黑板上的短语变成现在进行时的句
子。

设计意图:为了突破本课的教学重点——现在进行时,教师特别设计了游戏活动
——look and do the action。一方面调动了学生们的学习热情,激发学生的创造性思
维,另一方面通过用What’s heshe doing? What are theyyou doing? What am I doing?
等不同人称的提问,讲解了各种人称句式,进行了层次化的语言训练。
