Ⅰ.Lead in the passage:
Play a game ,lead in hopes and dreams , show my hopes and dreams,
sum up that a hope is realistic, a dream is less realistic.
Ⅱ.Presentation
1. Skimming and predicting what the passage is about.


Para 1 and find out the answers to the following question:
What do people dream about?
Then let students talk about their hopes and dreams.
3. Read Para 2 and complete the information chart

Then show questions and let students think deeply.

What do you think of these teenagers?

What would you like to do after finishing your education? Why?

4. Groupwork : tell students to read Paras 3 ,4 and underline key
points. Tell them that they can help each other.

What’re the dreams of teenagers?

What do you think of their dreams? Can they achieve their dreams?
Then show a picture about the person that can fly in special clothes,
lead students to sum up nothing is possible.


⑶Read the conclusion together.
It’s important to dream , so hold on to your dreams one day they may
just come true.
Encourage students to recite it, because this is what the writer wants
to tell everyone. At the same time, tell them this is the most aim
today.

Show a passage about how to achieve your dream ,finish the tasks
below.

I'd love to sail across the Pacific.
We all dream about things that we would like to do and things we hope
to achieve in the future. But are everybody’s dreams the same? Here
are some of the findings of a survey about hopes and dreams, in which


thousands of students across China took part.
What are the hopes of teenagers?
We received several different answers to the question: what would you
like to do after finishing your education? It seems some students would
like to start work as soon as possible, so that they can help provide
better lives for their parents. Other students hope to continue studying
after finishing school, and to go to university. Although money is
important, many teenagers said they want to do jobs they enjoy.
According to the survey, the most popular choice of job is computer
programming.
What are the dreams of teenagers?
Teenagers have all kinds of dreams. Some are more realistic than
others. For example, many students said they would like to be
volunteers for Hope Project. And quite a few said they dream of going
to the moon one day.
According to the survey, less realistic dreams are also common, but
many students reported that they were willing to work hard to achieve
their dreams. Quite a few dream of becoming famous, perhaps famous
sportspeople or singers. Some said they’d love to go on exciting trips;
one student said she’d love to sail across the Pacific Ocean. And then
there are dreams that are impossible; three students said they’d like to
be able to fly!


Conclusion
It was clear from the survey that teenagers have similar hopes. It
seems that most students hope to have a good education and find a
good job. On the other hand, students dream of very different things:
good things, and even crazy things. It’s very important to dream. So
hold on to your dreams; one day they may just come true.

学情分析


初三学生具备一定的语言积累,在学习本节课时,已经能对度
假旅行的话题进 行输出;本节课重在让学生理解和运用标注重点信息、
适时调整阅读速度等阅读策略,学生完全可以与自 身实际相联系,依
据梦想话题,读懂本文,并能展开讨论。所以,设计本节课的时候重
点是引发 学生思考,帮助学生形成正确的人生观和奋斗观。
效果分析
总体上说,本节课达到了预设的教学目
标,学生对于hope to do 和would like to do两个句型运用熟
练,并且根据自己的实际阐述了自己的理想和梦想。学生对
短文的理 解比较深刻,不仅仅能进行略读、预测,而且能自
己提出疑问,深入思考,是之前我所未能预料的。班内 还存
在少部分表达不顺利的同学,也有个别学生对于老师的指令
不太明确,这是本节课的不足之 处。



教材分析


本课时是八年级英语课本第三单元where would you like to visit?中的
reading部分,主要围绕the hopes of teenagers and the dreams of teenagers
而展开。学生需要掌握本篇课文中的短语,并且会用I'd like to 表达自己hopes and dreams.
教学过程中启发学生感受美好未来,要为实现自己远大的梦想和理想而努力奋斗。
教学重点市hopes and dreams 的语言表达能力的训练与提高;而教学难点是培养
学生的语言表达以及处理语言中的key words能力。渗透预测短文的阅读策略和略读、扫
读的能力培养。

Ⅰ.Read and finish the tasks:
Do you ever spend time dreaming about your future? Maybe you’re dreaming about
becoming a scientist or a famous writer. Dreaming about what you want is important.

Writing down your dreams.

It is the first step in making them come true. Sometimes it is surprising to look
at your dream and think about how to achieve it. One way to start your journey is
to write down action steps or goals, for example, “I will not talk while my teacher
is talking.” “I will improve my reading grade from a B to an A this term.” “ I
will practice playing football so that I can score a goal this season.” or “ I
will set aside 15 minutes each day to review my Math.” In this way you can get
closer to your dreams.

Set a goal .

At first , you might set a goal too high and make things too hard for yourself.
That’s okay. High goals mean you have high hopes. After you have written down your
goal, make sure you share it with your teachers , parents or even your friends.
It always helps you keep on your goals.
Whatever you do, don’t give up and keep dreaming!

课后反思

讲完课之后,自 己也不断回忆这堂课,反思了很多,感觉在正
式讲课的时候自己存在着很多的问题,比如自己的心理素质 还是不够
过硬,碰到学生不会回答的时候自己也发懵不会巧妙的引导;自己总
想让更多的学生参 与课堂,过程中有一些不必要的问答,既浪费时间,
又误导学生;自己设计的课堂缺乏预案,总是想当然 的认为学生会按
照我的思路往下走,没有多想想如果出现其他的情况如何办?这些都
是我在今后 的教学中要不断完善的。
每次试课、每次研讨自己都有不同程度的提升,两周的准备时期是我进步最快的时候,来自各个方面的不同帮助让我吸收了更多的教
学知识,一遍一遍的磨课使自己 对于教学的方式、教学理念和教学定
位有了更科学的认识,这次磨课对我今后的教学意义非凡,非常感谢
过程中学校领导的大力支持,同教研组的无私帮助,同办公室伙伴的
理解、鼓励,让我在忙碌之 余收获了满满的感动。

课标分析


初三下册Unit 3这一单元以旅游为话题,通过谈论世界旅游胜地,
展开多种形式的语言训练活动,目的是让学生学会运用would like to
和hope to 来讨论想去的地方。通过学习关于希望和梦想的语篇,让
学生理解和运用标注重点信息、适时调整阅读速 度等阅读策略。最后
依据梦想话题,让学生与自身实际相联系,实现语言的输出和综合运
