Teaching aims:
1. Knowledge aims:
(1) Students can listen,say,read and write the words:home、
room、school、classroom. And they can fill in the blanks according
the pictures.
(2) Students can describe the pictures with the sentences:
Welcome to … This is my … I like my … Look! My … is big.
2. Ability aim:
Students can correctly write the words.
3. Emotion aims:
(1)
Educate students to develop good writing habits.
(2)
Students can be more confident during the study of English,
and get great fun of study.
(3)Educate students to love their homeland.

Important teaching points:
Master how to spell the words.

Describe the pictures with the sentences students learned.

StepⅠ Warm-up

T: I hope you’ll have fun in my class.

kitchen.
Step Ⅱ Presentation
1. Learn the words.
(1) Learn “school”
Show a picture of “school” , lead students to speak out the word


“school ” .
<1> Teach students to read the word.
<2> Practice reading the word in different ways.
<3> Spell the word.
<4> Lead students to describe the picture with the sentences:
Welcome to my school.
This is my school.
I like my school.
Look! My school is big.
(2) Learn the other words in the same way. (classroom, home,
room)
2. Listen to the recording and read the words.
3. Game “What’s missing?”
(1) Speak out the words.
(2) Spell the words.
4. Write the words.
Teacher writes the words and students imitate.
5. Write and say.
(1) Look at the pictures and complete sentences. Ask four students
to write on the blackboard, other students write in their exercise
books.
(2) Check the answers.


(3) Read the sentences together.
Step Ⅲ Practice
1. Group work.
Give each group some word-cards, ask them make sentences with
the words.
2. Choose a picture and describe it.
3. Have a dictation.
Step Ⅳ Summary
Educate students to love their homeland.
Step Ⅴ Homework
1. Copy the words.
2. Make the sentences with the words.
