一、
完成本册教学的指导思想:
《英语课程标准》
中明确指出,
基础教 育阶段英语课程的任务之一是:
激发和
培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好 的学习习惯和形成有效
的学习方法,发挥自主学习的能力和合作精神,使学生掌握一定的语言综合运用< br>能力,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,培
养学生跨文化交际 意识。
二、学生基本情况分析
六年级的学生思维敏捷,已经有一定的英语基础,并且学生对英语比较感兴
趣,学生课堂表现积极、主 动,乐于参与,乐于表现自己。大部分同学对学习英
语都有兴趣,学习英语的自信心较强,但有一部分同 学英语基础差,增加了教学
难度。所以在今后的教学中,应面向全体学生,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,充 分
调动他们的自主能动性、积极性,并发挥团队协作精神,营造互帮互助,使他们
树立起学习英 语的自信心,同时让学生了解中西文化的差异,培养爱国主义精神
和世界意识。
三、教材分析
本册教材的主要内容为
PEP
小学英语六年级上册, 共有6个教学单元、2
个复习单元。每单元分
“
A、B、C
”
三个部 分,共12页,复习单元为6页。全
书配有彩色卡通式插图,设计新颖活泼,生动有趣。本教材的设计与 编写体现了
对传统外语教学思想的继承和发展,在比较、分析和研究多种国内外小学英语教
材的 基础上,博采众长,取其精华,形成了本套教材特有的编写体系。本套教材
的编写思路是以话题为纲,以 交际功能和语言结构为主线,逐步引导学生运用英
语完成有实际意义的语言任务,即:话题-功能-结构 -任务。根据学生的实际
情况,
教师可以有选择地、
灵活地安排教学内容,
有 针对性地设计课堂教学活动。
四、教学目标与任务
本套教材的教学目的是 激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养他们学习英语的积极
态度,使他们初步建立学习英语的自信心;培养学生 具有一定的语感和良好的语
音、语调、书写基础,以及良好的学习习惯;使他们初步具备用英语进行简单 日
常交流的能力。同时培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象和创造能力。适当介绍
中西方文化, 培养学生的爱国主义精神,增强世界意识,为学生的进一步学习奠
定良好的基础。
文 化的同时,也学会用英语向外国人介绍中华民族的优秀文化传统,真正实现跨
文化交际。

五、具体教学措施与办法
(一)词汇教学(
Let’s learn
)

注重词汇的呈现方式
使用不同方法教 学词汇能产生完全不同的教学效果。教师在教学词汇的过程中创
造性运用教具,通过各种方式呈现新词, 使学生始终保持学习兴趣至关重要。教
师要仔细研究课堂,开动脑筋设计有效的学习任务,使单词教学不 仅生动有趣而
且教有实效。

利用

部分引入话题、引出新词和新句型
本册书的
Let’s sta rt
是一项
brainstorm
式的活动。教师在引导学生讨论与话题相
关 的实际生活问题时,除了使用学过的词汇和句型之外,可以非常自然地引出一
些新词,让学生在理解词义 的基础上朗读、拼读新词,这样会场收到良好的教学
效果。

在实际交流当中教学单词
教师应力求在语言交流当中教新词,
用旧词练习新语言,
融会语言和词汇的教学,
使之相辅相成。教师可充分利用学生用书和教师教 学用书当中可供选择的游戏,
在丰富的语言活动当中操练新词,将词汇和句型的教学融会贯通。教师除了 用好
学生用书,活动手册和教师教学用书以外,还应根据教学的需要,自行设计多样
化的交际性 语言活动教学新词。

充分发挥单词卡片的作用
单词卡片不仅 可以用来做各种复习巩固词汇的游戏,还可以让学生在听、说、认
读之后再描红,进行单词的拼写。

阅读教学的教学目标是:读懂对话或短文;完成检测学生理解程度的活动。在这
里,教师把教学重点放在巩固重点词汇、句型和提高学生的阅读能力。具体教学
建议如下:

.复习巩固本部分重点词汇和句型,可以采用游戏、竞赛或师生自由会话等形
式。

.教师设计情景,自然引入阅读内容,并且尽可能引入阅读内容中的新句型。
3
.教师解惑答疑。

.检测学生的理解情况。
(四)语音训练(
Pronunciation
)
六年级上册编排 了

个国际音标的听音、认读训练,让学生通过朗读例词和完
成单词、音标、图连线 的活动初步建立单词的音、形、义之间的联系,为今后的
语音学习打下较好的基础。
具体教学建议如下:

(五)歌曲与歌谣教学(
Let’s sing/Let’s chant
)
歌曲与歌谣既可以用来导入或巩固学习各单元 的重要词汇和基本句型,让学生在
活泼轻快的旋律当中熟练掌握目标语言;
又可以用来扩展语言 、
加大信息输入量,
尤其是为后面课时的重点、难点做好铺垫。要使歌曲与歌谣真正起到活跃教 学,
并服务于语言学习的作用,应该注意以下几点:
1.
在每节课中渗透
歌曲与歌谣可以在每节课的课前欣赏或演唱,以营造英 语学习的气氛;以反复欣
赏,略将主要词义,逐步跟唱的自然习得形式进行。
2.
灵活运用于各个教学环节
除了用于
Warm-up
, 营造学习气氛,还可以灵活调整,用于呈现语言或词汇的教
学当中。
也可以用于教学中途的放松 和调节,
更可以用来巩固语言和词汇的学习。
3.
唱演结合,培养艺术素质
小学生好动、好表演。教师应尽量给歌曲与歌 谣配上相应的简易动作,让学生在
唱起来的同时动起来、演起来、乐起来。

.巧妙替换,服务于新知识的教学
教师可以指导学生对熟悉的歌谣进行改 编,把新词汇或句型替换进去,增强词汇
教学的创造性和趣性

(六)趣味故事教学(

)
趣味故事不仅仅是 给学生带来乐趣,更重要的是起到了扩展语言和对不同学生分
层次教学的作用。
(七)阶段复习教学(
Recycle
)
阶段复习密切围绕各单元 话题展开,將所有需要复习的语言点融进有实际意义的
活动之中,
并增加了考察综合性阅读理解 能力的语篇,
以增进对语言知识的积累。
