A problem I’ve solved
1.
What
was the problem?
2.
How did you solve it?
3.
What
have you learned?
A
problem I’ve solved
Lose one’s way
(calm down, ask for help)
Everyone has problems. So do I. I
travelled to America with my
parents.
Since it was my first trip to go abroad, I felt so
excited that I went here
and there and
got lost.
I shouted in Chinese but no
one replied and I didn’t find
my phone.
I felt more and more nervous and didn’t know what
to do. At that
time, I told myself to
be calm. I tried to talk to the local people to
ask for help.
Finally, I found my
parents. I solved the problem myself. From the
unforgettable experience, I have
learned that when the problem comes, you
need to calm down and try your best to
solve it. Then you will succeed.
A problem I’ve solved
Make
friends/how to get along with others (smile, talk
with others politely, be
kind to help
others)
Argue
with a friend (because of a small thing/apologize
to sb./learn how to
get along with
others/neverlose temper)
Make a speech
Last month, I met a problem which was
hard for me to work out. I was asked to
give a speech about myself but I had
little experience. After thinking a lot, I was
determined to spare no effort to solve
the problem. First, I searched the
Internet in order to gather some useful
information. Next, I asked my parents to
give me some suggestions. Finally, I
inspired/encouraged myself to be more
confident and tried to relax. To my
surprise, I succeeded in completing the
speech and became the winner.
In a word/In conclusion
,
I’ve learned that when we meet difficulty, just be
diligent (hard-working) and strive
to(manage to) solve it and then we will gain
the achievement.
I used to be very nervous and I was
poor at communicating with others. My
teacher asked me to take part in a
competition and said that it could improve
my ability. In order not to make my
teacher disappointed, I prepared a lot. I
read many useful books, which could
enrich my knowledge and broaden my
mind
. “
No pains,
no gains.
” Finally, I got the first
prize in the contest.
Since
then, I became more confident and
brave. From the experience, I have learned
that success won’t be far away if you
really work hard.
Believing myself
is
something I learned from a problem I’ve
solved
. One day,
when I was
chosen to read my article in the front of our
classroom, I felt
nervous and I was
afraid of making mistakes. I told myself to be
brave and
confident. I believed that I
could manage to do it. At last, I succeeded and I
have learned that that believing myself
is something important in my life.
A problem I’ve solved
Have
difficulty in learning English/listening/reading…
(I didn't do well in the
English test
last term. That’s a big pro
blem, so I
made up my mind to study
harder and
solve it. I did my best to follow the teacher in
class. I took notes
carefully and
practised listening regularly. What’ more, I read
some English
storybooks in my free
time. So far, I have made great progress.
I’ve
learned that we should
never give up.)
Sports (swimming, running…) Although I
felt tired, I still didn’t give up. As a
famous saying goes, “No pains, no
gains.” In the end, I succeeded in ….
Learn to ride
a bicycle (fall down for several times, keep
balance, never give
up)
I had a problem in
English
. I was poor at
listening. As we all know, English is
so important that I must do something
to improve my English. I tried to do my
best to follow my teacher and took
notes carefully. I also practised listening
regularly. With the help of my teacher,
I solved the problem and made
progress
in English. I’ve learned that nothing is
impossible. We should face the
difficulty bravely and never give up!
Several months ago, I
failed in an
English
exam
which made me feel extremely
unhappy.
At first, I though mum would blame me for my
failure. Instead, she
encouraged me a
lot and said “Nothing is impossible.” These
words
made me
have the
courage to move on. And I started to work hard at
school or even at
home. At last, I got
a good score in English. Through this experience,
I’ve
learned that any problem can be
solved if I try my best to overcome the
difficulty.
The
other day I’ve met a problem. I
couldn’t
swim
well. Last month, I decided
to learn to
swim but I failed. When I wanted to give up, my
father told me
“When you want to give
up, remember why you started.” Suddenly, I noticed
that I should work harder to solve this
problem. Then I practised swimming a
lot and asked my teacher for help.
Finally,
I solved the problem. Now,
I’ve
learned that practice makes
perfect
and we shouldn’t feel like
giving up easily.
A problem I’ve solved
Health
problems (lose weight, improve the poor memory,
deal with
pressure…)
There is no denying that
there are always some problems in our daily life.
As
for me, I always fell asleep in
class at the beginning of the term. That made me
worried a lot. To solve the problem, I
decided to wash my face with cold water
before every class. In addition, I
determined to keep myself excited during the
lessons. For example, I never gave up
focusing on every question the teacher
asked and tried my best to work it
these ways, I never fall asleep in class
any more. After solving the problem, I
realized that every difficulty can be
solved if I am hard-working enough.
After thinking about the solution actively, I
will be able to overcome the trouble
sooner or later.
My
problem was that I had a weak body. I used to
catch a cold easily. So I
decided to
exercise more. Although I was lazy, I spent an
hour swimming
every weekend. I played
badminton with my friends every day. I went on
exercising when I felt a little tired.
I improved my health a lot. I have learned
that where there is a will, there is a
way. We can be healthy by exercising
regularly.
A problem I’ve solved
Do maths
problems
Last week, when I was having a
test, I met a big maths
problem. I
couldn’t
work it out. I was nervous and
hopeless. I nearly wanted to give up. At the
same time, I thought of what my mum had
told me “Don't be afraid and keep
calm
all the time.” I relaxed myself and read the
problem again.
In surprise, I
found I wrote down a number by mistake.
At last, I solved it. From that, I have
learned sometimes a peaceful mind can
work better.
Raise a pet
Report the theft (find the owner of the
purse)
好词好句
What have you
learned?
More
importantly, I have learned that we should never
give up and calm
down when we meet some
problems. In addition, we ought to get
some help
if we can’t solve
the problem by ourselves. Problems are
really meaningful to everyone, so don't
be nervous when you have any
problem.
You are sure
to succeed as long as you have a willing heart/you
work
hard.
When you meet a problem, believe
yourself and try your best to deal
with
it.
We mustn’t
give up any true friendship because we will know
the
importance of friends when we see
darkness.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
Failure is the
mother of success.
No pains, no gains.
Practice makes
perfect.
I
believe that the more I try, the better I will be.
I believe what
I have done will turn out to be my great success
in the
future.
What I’ve learned is that focusing your
attention on the difficulty and
controlling yourself is the key to
success.

Recommend a place to “Where are we
going, Dad”
Dear editor,
I love watching
the program and I am really happy to recommend
Beijing as
your next destination. Here
are my two reasons. First, the Great Wall is a
famous scenic spot in Beijing. I
believe fathers and their children can have a
great time there. During the climbing,
fathers can encourage and teach
children to be independent. More
importantly, with their father's help, they can
persist until the end. Secondly, there
are a lot of other historical places such as
the Forbidden city and the Summer
palace. Fathers and children can learn a
lot about ancient China and our
traditions there. I hope that you can take my
suggestion and wish your show become
more popular.
Yours

A little more fresh air,
please.
Nowadays, the
environmental problems are more and more serious.
In urban
areas, dirty air is everywhere
because of the fumes from cars and the waste
from factories. The situation is so
serious that we must take action. We
should take public transport instead of
driving cars. The government should
stop factories from producing harmful
gases. It’s our duty to protect our
environment. I hope we will have a
little more fresh air in the future.
